WHO'S INSOLVENT...! NAH, YOU'RE KIDDING. DIDN'T YOU KNOW THAT "BANKS" HAVE ALWAYS BEEN LEGALLY INSOLVENT? IT'S TRUE. THEY ONLY HAVE 5% MAX. ON HAND...

Copyright (C) 2009 by F. Scott Sinclair. All Rights Reserved. Please click on the photograph to enlarge the picture. It's a pleasant experience to wander about the Nan River on a typical sun clad day. Resting and relaxing on a floating restaurant at noon is quite a spectacular experience. After sipping a cold brew, or cool Pepsi, it's refreshing and peaceful to soak in the lovely scenery...including the Buddhist temple across the river. At nighttime, you can stroll along the concrete sidewalk down the river to the local Night Bazaar and have dinner by the river, or listen to hawkers selling their wares. Or just people watch, if nothing else. A nice way to let the woes of the real world float away: out of sight, out of mind.

Large U.S. Banks on Brink of Insolvency, Experts Say

By Steve Lohr

Some of the large banks in the United States, according
to economists and other finance experts, are like dead
men walking. A sober assessment of the growing
mountain of losses from bad bets, measured in today's
marketplace, would overwhelm the value of the banks'
assets, they say. The banks, in their view, are insolvent.

Global systemic crisis Alert For Summer 2009:

The US Government Will Default On Its Debt

By GEAB

Our researchers anticipate that, before next summer
2009, the US government will default and be prevented
to pay back its creditors (holders of US Treasury Bonds,
of Fanny May and Freddy Mac shares, etc.). Of course
such a bankruptcy will provoke some very negative
outcome for all USD-denominated asset holders.

The DOW a year from now

By Denver Research Group

Without new dollars flowing on a consistent basis to
middle class consumers, many analysts believe the DOW
would necessarily fall below the level of the post dot.com,
post 9/11 crash of 2002 (8,000)...most likely to the
range of 6,500-7,000. Continue

U.S. will soon face second "Great Depression"

Renowned economist Khazin predicted U.S. financial
crisis in 2000

By Yevgeniy Chernyx

more. Continue

and wept Tuesday night as they were informed that
Barack Obama had won the presidential election.

America’s Moronic Iraqi Policy

By Paul Craig Roberts

If the US maintains its pro-Israeli stance against Arabs
and Muslims generally, the implications of a growing
Muslim population and a government obsessed with
its “war on terror” are frightening for American civil
liberty. In order to contain the potential terror that
it will have imported, Washington would impose a
total police state. We will have our own Saddam Hussein.

My Michelle Moment: America Does Itself Proud

By David Michael Green

For the first time in a very long time, I felt a little
pride about what my country was doing. This election
felt to me like nothing so much as a reclaiming of our
country from some truly evil predators who had
hijacked it, and a restoration of democracy – and,
really, sanity – to our political sphere. Continue
