POLICE BRUTALITY IN AMERICA IS RAMPANT & GOES UNPUNISHED IN MOST CASES: PAUL CRAIG ROBERTS DISSECTS POLICE BRUTALITY. UNBELIEVABLE...? NOT REALLY...

QUOTE:

America’s Police Brutality Pandemic

By Paul Craig Roberts

Americans are in far greater danger from their own
police forces than they are from foreign terrorists.
Ironically, Bush’s “war on terror” has made Americans
less safe at home by diminishing US civil liberty and
turning an epidemic of US police brutality into a
pandemic. Continue

Chalmers Johnson : Evil Empire: Is Imperial Liquidation
Possible for America?:

In politics, as in medicine, a cure based on a false
diagnosis is almost always worthless, often worsening
the condition that is supposed to be healed. The United
States, today, suffers from a plethora of public ills.
Most of them can be traced to the militarism and
imperialism that have led to the near-collapse of our
Constitutional system of checks and balances.

SHOULD THE PRESIDENT OF COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY HAVE BEEN TASERED LIKE THE U. OF FLORIDA STUDENT FOR "DISRUPTING A PUBLIC EVENT"? EQUAL JUSTICE, HUH? NOPE

Comment: America is the "Land of the Free"
for some. Make up your own mind by reading
the following two articles, and you'll get the
message: loud and clear, I should think. But
regardless of your beliefs conjured up by
these two articles; always remember, it's
the eye's-of-the-beholder. Nobody sees the
world in the same way. And that's good. It
would be a boring world if everyone thought
exactly the same. Nuff said. Take care, and
best wishes to all.

Comment: Sleep deprivation is used routinely
in torturing prisoners nowadays, but it's not
considered torture by our government. Well, the
following article begs to differ with those who
consider sleep deprivation as safe and effective.
Sleep deprivation can lead to organ failure,

diagnosed, or undiagnosed, cases of heart disease.
I suspect if your heart stops, that'll meet the
definition of torture. How many detainees have

Comment: The Iranian Affair is like a game of cards: 21.
You're losing your hands and bets, and the only way to
win and get your money back is: double your bet to cover
your loses...! And that's exactly what the Crown Prince
of Crawford is doing. The Crown Prince has everything
to win, and we have everything to lose. He's using
our fiat monopoly money (OP money: other peoples' money)
to try to restore his good name to the history books. Will
he win the bet (the hand)? Good question. But like everything
else this administration touches, it turns to do-do in a hurry.
And like a house made of glass, we're likely to be picking up
the pieces for a long time to come. I believe that's saying:
we're going to be the losers. If GWB had attacked Iran first,
he'd be applauded for his good judgment in stopping a
maniac nuclear power from destroying the planet. But
since we're bogged down in Iraq, Iran has the upper hand.
And Iran is fully prepared for any eventuality and outcome;
we're not prepared for the outcome which will be a
devastating one if the military fails in their mission.
A cakewalk...? A bloodbath is more like it. Nuff said. Stay
tuned for the pounding of the drums and bombs. And I'd
keep an eye on the stockmarket because things might
get ugly. Later and best wishes on the outcome.
